The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom.
During the holidays, M-Chan and I spent a few evenings watching The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom on Netflix together. I have to admit that, at first, the title did not exactly inspire confidence. It is a bit long, a bit dramatic, and it sounds like many other anime titles I probably would not remember if I came across them by chance.

When Holidays Stop Being Obligations
Since we left France in 2007, our life has been built elsewhere. First came Japan, where Gaby was born. Then the Netherlands, Taiwan where M-Chan was born, New Zealand where Jaja was born in turn, and finally England, where we live today. Looking at this journey, I realize that it has been almost twenty years since we began building our daily life far from our country of origin.

Sayanara, arigatō,
The moment has come to tell you goodbye. Not in anger, nor in regret, but with a full, lucid gratitude, and a tenderness that will not fade away. You have been, for a long time, the silent center of my life. The first apartment, invisible but essential, where my three children started their story. Three times, you rendered possible what exceeds words. You carried, protected, sheltered. You were that intimate place where everything begins, where life takes shape even before ha

Traveling with Kids, Just a Little Differently

The Fascinating World of Ants
For his birthday, Jaja received a rather special gift... an ant colony!

When chess leaves the board
Jaja loves chess. But not just to play it. He actually lives it.
With him, a game can start anywhere. Even (especially) in a supermarket, between two aisles and a few perplexed looks.
