Welcome,
I’m Ninichan, a mom of three and an expat living in the beautiful countryside near Cambridge. If you’re looking for a perfectly curated blog with staged family photos and a seamless life, you’re probably in the wrong place!
Here, life is like a messy sewing project: we’re trying to stitch the pieces together, sometimes we miss the mark, often the thread gets tangled, but somehow, we always end up creating something unique.
Behind the Stitches is my space to talk about life and all its ups and downs, motherhood, our migration journey, and our ability, or our attempt, to rebuild ourselves when life throws us a curveball. It’s a place for anyone who feels a bit out of sync sometimes, looking for kindness, community, and a bit of humour to take the edge off daily struggles.
Why this blog?
Because I truly believe no one should have to navigate life’s challenges alone. We’re just simple, perfectly imperfect people, and that’s what makes us unique.
So, pull up a chair, grab a coffee (or a tea, this is England after all), and let’s have a chat.
A note on privacy: You won't find my last name, my home address, or my children's faces here. I protect my privacy (and theirs) just as I protect my little cocoon of peace, while keeping my heart wide open to connect with you.
